Terms of use
Last updated 8 November 2026
These terms apply when you download or play CoverDrive2040 (“the game”), made by Vinoth Kumar (“we”). By playing, you agree to them. If you got the game from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies; if you got it from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the game on devices you own or control, for your own enjoyment. The game, its art, music, sounds, code and names belong to us or our licensors.
What you agree not to do
- copy, sell, rent or distribute the game or its content;
- reverse-engineer, modify or cheat in the game, except where the law allows;
- use the game in a way that breaks the law or harms others or the service.
Free to play and ads
The game is free on phones and supported by ads shown between innings and after matches. There are no in-app purchases. Ads come from third parties; we're not responsible for what they advertise.
Your account
On phones you play with a guest account, which you can link to Game Center or Google Play Games. You can delete it at any time in the game. See our privacy policy for how account information is handled.
Fictional content
All teams, players, sponsors and venues in the game are fictional. Any resemblance to real people or organisations is coincidental.
Updates and availability
We may update, change or stop the game or any part of it. We'll try to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of bugs.
No warranty
The game is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we make no warranties about it, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for more than the amount you paid for the game (if anything). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Ending these terms
You can stop at any time by deleting the game. If you break these terms we may end your licence.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to play means you accept it.
